THE CATS OF DVC

This is Gabe at about 8 weeks old. He is also known as Goobie due to his always present eye boogies. He was found half frozen in a horse pasture as a kitten.

Gabe is the always faithful head clinic cat. He is the most helpful cat around when it comes to keeping track of our cotton ball inventory.

Gabe is known as the clinic clown. He's always ready with a joke if you have the time. His favorite is about a donkey that walked into the bar.

Gabe loves his Purina! Well, actually he loves just about any kind of food, but it is one of his favorites.

Gabe loves napping in the windows. Curling up in the sunlight warms the body and relaxes the muscles.

Gabe has a strange fetish for riding on people's shoulders.

Gabe is really a bear until he's had his morning latte. WARNING: Do not speak too him until he's had that first cup.

This is Mick as a wee kitten. He left for awhile but returned to us as an adult about a year ago. We love him so much that he won't leave again!

Mick finds life at DVC to be hilarious. Maybe Gabe told him that donkey joke (again)?

Mick (who is supposed to supervise the reception area) has a hard time staying awake at work. Somebody get that cat some coffee!

Meal time is the best time for these two chow-hounds. Remember to watch your fingers.

This is "MiMi" who started her life here at DVC. She loved to show off our extra large and comfortable cages! She now has a home with one of our staff members.

Gabe and MiMi are good friends. Always  lending a hand to show new kitties the ropes at DVC.

This is Fiona who has been with us since she was a very frightened kitten. She is now living with a staff member and enjoying life as a single cat.
