Molly S. is our practice manager and comes with previous vet clinic, small business, analytical chemistry and veterinary industry experience. All this helps to diversify her as a leader for our practice. She is a 2007 Michigan State Graduate and previously attended Caledonia High School (1999-2003). Molly now spends the majority of her time outside work, raising her 11 year old daughter in Byron Center. Together they enjoy softball and volunteering with the Equest Center for Handicapped Riding Facility in Rockford, Michigan. Molly is a Kent County 4-H Alumni and a proud supporter of the Caledonia FFA. Her family has a passion for caring for others and they spend a fair amount of time advocating for children in the Good Samaritan’s Home in Bangladesh (India), with the International Promise Foundation organization.
Interesting fact: Molly grew up with horses and on the rodeo circuit, competing nationwide. She has had experience in small animal medicine vet clinics and large animal practices. With a college education in animal husbandry and reproduction, her medical exposure goes across many planes of study. Her favorite part of the job is the client relations, creating the customer service experience and building a positive culture for everyone at Dorr Vet.
At home, she has a 10 year old Beagle “Quinn,” a 12 year old Laboradoodle “Benny,” and a 6 month old mini-aussie named “Rookie.”
And living here at the clinic she has a retired Quarter Horse Gelding named “Gunner,” a QH yearling, born here at Dorr Vet last winter, named “Charm,” and a QH palomino mare named “Minnie.”
Molly loves to volunteer at the school and assist with class projects, travel with her whole family, camp/fish and promote Dorr Vet Clinic everywhere she goes! Molly’s second career calls her AUNTIE, 8 tiny humans do anyway.
She now calls herself a WIFE too, after marrying Adam in October 2021!
