Dr. Chapin is a 2009 graduate of Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree at Saint Mary’s College of Notre Dame. Her love of animals and interest in veterinary medicine started at a very young age. She spent time in high school and college volunteering for animal rescue organizations and working at a veterinary hospital as an assistant which continued to foster her desire to become a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.

After graduation from MSU College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Chapin moved to Alaska where she practiced for 6 years. She spent her days off enjoying the outdoors by hiking, camping, biking, and fishing. Dr. Chapin moved back to Michigan to be closer to family. She enjoys spending time with her rescue dog, Sawyer. Together, they enjoy camping, hiking, and kayaking around Michigan.
